Terms of Service

Last updated October 2026 · Binding agreement for patients and medicos using Sajilo in Nepal.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Sajilo Healthcare ("Sajilo", "we", "us") operates a platform that connects patients in Nepal with verified independent medicos — individual practitioners, clinics, hospitals and diagnostic centres ("medicos") — for home sample collection, walk-in visits and video consultations, with reports and receipts delivered through the platform.

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Sajilo when you create an account, book a service, or register as a medico. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate name, email and a verifiable +977 mobile number, and keep your login credentials confidential. One account per person; you are responsible for all activity under your login.

Patients must be 18 or older, or be booked for by a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on the patient's behalf. Medico accounts additionally require a valid professional registration number and admin approval before accepting any work.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for false information, misuse, fraud, or violation of these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

3. Booking, assignment and scheduling

Selecting a service, time and address places a booking request, not a confirmed appointment. Orders remain pending until an admin assigns a verified medico practising in your area.

Published availability is indicative: medico hours, day-offs and booked slots change in real time, and confirmed bookings take precedence over displayed availability. Scheduled times are in Nepal Time (UTC+5:45).

You must provide a reachable phone number and an accessible collection address. If the medico cannot reach you or access the premises in the scheduled window, the visit may be marked incomplete and rescheduling fees may apply under Section 5.

4. Medico verification

Every doctor's Nepal Medical Council (or equivalent) registration and every organisation's healthcare licence is verified by our team before they take work. Verified profiles carry a visible badge; verified status is suspended immediately on adverse findings pending review.

Verification reflects documents checked at approval time. Patients should still confirm a practitioner's identity at the visit. Report concerns through Contact us and we will investigate.

5. Prices, payment, refunds and receipts

Prices shown at booking are final for that order: base price plus any home-visit fee, less valid promo discounts. Payment is collected by the medico on site (cash or accepted digital means) unless stated otherwise, and every confirmed payment generates a numbered receipt in your orders.

Commissions owed by medicos to Sajilo are settled between the medico and Sajilo and never change the patient's price. Platform-funded discount top-ups shown to medicos are likewise internal and do not alter what you paid.

Cancellations before assignment receive a full waiver of any amount due. Once a medico is assigned or has travelled, a visit fee may be retained. Paid amounts for services not rendered are refunded to the original payment method within 15 business days; promo discounts have no cash value and are not refunded.

6. Promotions

Promo codes apply only when valid, unexpired, within usage limits and applicable to the booked services. Unless stated, one code per order, no cash alternative, and we may withdraw a code at any time. Abuse (multiple accounts, code farming) voids the discount and may lead to suspension.

7. Reports and medical disclaimer

Laboratory and visit reports are delivered within 24 hours of collection under normal conditions. Reports are informational and do not constitute a diagnosis, prescription or treatment plan — always consult a qualified doctor about your results.

Sajilo provides the platform and logistics; clinical responsibility for collection quality and reported values lies with the performing medico and laboratory. In an emergency (chest pain, breathing difficulty, severe bleeding), call 102 for ambulance or 100 for police immediately instead of booking.

8. Medico terms

Medicos act as independent providers, not employees of Sajilo. The lead fee per accepted job is computed from the catalogue service's commission and shown before you take work; free leads, if granted, are consumed first.

You must hold the hours you publish, honour accepted bookings, upload reports promptly, collect only the invoiced amounts, and remit commissions due. Verification documents must stay current; expired credentials suspend matching until renewed.

9. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the platform, submit false medical or identity information, interfere with other users' bookings, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or use reports or receipts for fraudulent purposes. We may report unlawful conduct to the authorities.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Nepal, Sajilo's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes, termination and law

We may update these terms; material changes take effect 15 days after posting in-app, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Either party may terminate: you by deleting your account (order history required by law is retained per the Privacy Policy), us per Section 2.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu District, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026 · How Sajilo collects, uses, shares and protects your data.

1. Data controller and scope

Sajilo Healthcare is the data controller for personal data processed through the Sajilo platform by users in Nepal. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and the rights you hold. By using the service you acknowledge this processing.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, +977 mobile number, login identifiers and verification records. Booking data: patient details, age, address and map pin, order contents, schedule, notes and practitioner-gender preference. Health data: allergies, date of birth, uploaded reports and clinical remarks. Transaction data: amounts, payment status, receipts, commissions and promo usage. Technical data: device tokens for push, coarse logs and support correspondence.

3. How we use it

Performance of the service (account management, booking, assignment, reporting, receipts); verification of medicos and prevention of fraud and abuse; platform-funded discount accounting; aggregated analytics to improve coverage and quality; and legal compliance. We do not use health data for advertising and we never sell personal or health data.

4. Who sees your data

Your assigned medico sees only the order details needed for collection and reporting (contact, address, clinical notes, reports). Admin staff see operational data under confidentiality obligations. Infrastructure providers (hosting, push notification, storage) process data solely on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only where required by Nepali law.

5. Retention and deletion

Active account data is kept while your account exists. Order, receipt and report records are retained for 5 years for tax, medical-record and dispute purposes even after account deletion, after which personal identifiers are removed or anonymised. Verification codes expire in 10 minutes and are single-use. Deleting your account removes your profile, photo and health details from active systems promptly.

6. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, access follows least-privilege roles, and financial and health records carry immutable audit trails. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected compromise immediately so we can rotate credentials and investigate.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (subject to Section 5 retention), withdraw consent for optional processing such as push notifications, and lodge a complaint with us first and then with the relevant Nepali authority. Contact details are on the Contact us page; we respond within 30 days.

8. Children and changes

Bookings for children under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian. We will post material policy changes in-app at least 15 days before they take effect; continued use constitutes acceptance.
